Swiss born DJ and head honcho of Clarisse Records’ (Oxia, Audiojack, Mihalis Safras, Wade, Secondcity, David Herrero), Mendo makes his debut to Cr2 Records’ with Tech-House sizzler ‘Homy Baby’, an essential one tracker packed with old school synth stabs, raw energy and soul inspired vocal hooks that will keep you on your toes throughout.
Mendo, whose repertoire of more than 200 recordings across a variety of respected labels including Toolroom, Defected, Ultra Records, Suara, VIVa MUSiC, Terminal M and appearances/residencies at Blue Marlin Ibiza, Space, Pacha and Sziget has released some of house music’s finest tracks – ‘Everybody I Got Him’, ‘Aventuras’, ‘Grush’ (Inclusion in Beatport’ Top 100 for 2 months), a remix of Reelow’s ‘Fresh’ (featured on Toolroom’s 15th year anniversary compilation) and ‘Inocencia’ just to name a few, with the latter winning the Vicious Music Award for Best Release in 2011, whilst many of his recent tracks have secured huge DJ support amongst the biggest names such as Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Luciano and Carl Cox.
